Good morning all
I have a question I have a bobcat 440B, it is a gasoline engine and carbureted

Yesterday I was driving it down the road about a half a mile and it ran like brand new
I shut it off for a few minutes and I drove it back home and it wouldn't go into high RPM even with full throttle it was like it was at low throttle
It wouldn't go more than about a mile an hour and as soon as I started to go up a very slight incline it died. They would stare it up grab a tiny bit higher for a few seconds and I would drive again at very low speed for 30 seconds again it would shut off. I checked the gas and filled it it's not that
I have only owned this machine for a few weeks and I've never had any trouble with it
Anything anyone can suggest I look at before I take it into a dealer?

this is just a general statement ,,if you have a manual choke and try to pull it out a some to see if it runs better,if it does you are starving fuel. If you have a fuel filter with a drain , drain off some fuel in a glass jar ,let it sit a bit and look to see if there is any water in it. check and smell your oil make sure it does feel right and does not smell like gas, a diaphram type fuel pump ,,diaphram could be ruptured if so.

Your throttle cable may have come loose. If it is not bracketed to the frame properly the cable housing will just move instead of the cable pulling through the housing and then on the carburetor.
