m700 no drive on left side

hi,

a friend of mine is looking an a clark era m700 with no drive on the left hand side. it sounds like the whole left side is freewheeling. I'm inclined to think it is a broken drive chain but to be honest I don't know much about m700s. do they have a common chain for the front and rear axle on each side like a 610?

Is there a link somewhere for a service manual for one of these?? I got one for my 743 on here a few years ago but i cant find the link to the page anymore.

I am not familiar with the M700 but it looks like there are a lot of chains.
