We've had a M610 for about 10 years now and it gets used sparingly. About 2 years ago it broke the main drive belt and had since set in the backyard. I've got it inside now and I've taken off the cage and the entire bucket lift assembly. It's so much easier now to get down into the drive belt area. When taking off the sheave on the motor I noticed the inner snap ring was broken. I'm thinking of removing the motor just to check and clean all the gunk(under the motor and around the hydraulics) that's accumulated there over the years. How do you get the inner half of the pulley off the motor? I'm assuming it must come off to be able to remove the engine as it sticks too far into that hole to be just pulled backwards. Any other things I need to know about the removal? As far as putting the belt back on, I got the coupler off so I can at least get the belt on, but do you have to wedge the front pulley apart so that the belt slips down farther in the groove? I guess I'm at a stand still for now, at least until I get enough info to continue with the removal of the engine, or to just put the belt on and put it all back together. We are slow right now so time isn't an issue. I just don't want to put it all back together and then find out that something I could have fixed breaks and I have to tear it all back apart. Thanks in advance! Larry
