Looking for info on continuous M0217 codes on multiple machines. Three separate T770s with the same CAT brush cutter. Using high flow we have a repeat issue of the code above followed by a filter with the bottom plate pushed off. Looking for insite. Thanks!

Check the Main Hydraulic Filters, might blew the bottom of the filter off. Make also sure you get the new Filters with the new caps. Caps should have spring in it.

We have changed filters and caps on all machines and it has not solved our issue. Yes we have seen multiple filters with the bottom plate off or deformed. Our local bobcat is still blaming it on filter design. Even happened on our newest t770. Now the Cat mower we are using is rated for 34 gpm and the t770 is rated at 36.6 gpm on high flow. Is this a problem?

I would not think so flow wise, but ,I assume that your high flow has a case drain ,can you verify that the case drain is working properly?

Flow should be fine, do you get any other codes with that one code?
Does your Mower has a case drain line, like a 3rd hydraulic hose besides the two big ones?!

Thank you for the replies! No it only has 2 large hoses but it has a block with pressure valves for when you shut the mower down it bypasses fluid. No other codes.

You can not use high flow without case drain, the pressure build up is to high. That is why your machine is coding, because it creates a vacuum in the system. High Flow attachments have always a case drain line.
