Newly acquired LX885. How does the two speed engage on this machine? I see the cylinder but haven't gotten it to move at all. Thanks.

The cylinder rod is attached to a lever on the top of the hydro motor. There is also a lever on top of the other hydro motor. There is a link that attaches to both levers on the opposite side of the cylinder. There should also be a spring between the two levers. When the spring in not there the cylinder can not be compressed to change the speed. You should see an angle on the lever the cylinder is bolted to and a peg sticking straight up on the other lever. The spring attaches to the peg and an eyebolt that attaches to the angle.

Thanks so much for the info.
