Mike10 I was told to get on here and speak with you my Lx885 was creeping forward on the left side the battery was bad so I changed it and was rolling the starter normally just hold back on he left stuck a little and fire it up but left side engaged and stayed engaged loosened lines on pump got it going but left side is stuck going forward even when you hold back on the left stuck and help would be greatly appreciated thank you

When you move the lever you are moving a servo valve on the side of the hydro pump. The servo then supplies oil to the piston connected to the swash plate to move the swash plate. You could try replacing the servo valve, but they are expensive and may not be the only problem. When I have a machine doing what you describe, I replace the hydro pump. Not what you wanted to hear, I know. Even if you get the pump to work, at some time it will again stick at the most unoportune time.

Thank you so much mike10 is that one of the to motors off the main motor ? And where would be the best place to get one so you don't think it's in the valve body between my feet I just don't wanna spend a ton of unnecessary money thanks again for all your help

The hydrualic control valve between your feet has nothing to do with the hydrostats. The only connection between the two is the oil tank. If you have a good hydraulic shop in your area you might see if they can repair the hydrostat pump. I just install hydrostat pumps from New Holland. New Holland has reman and new hydrostat pumps. With the age of your machine, you will also have to pay a core charge on a reman hydrostat pump. Yes, they are bolted to the back of the engne bell housing.

I brought a l555 skid steer and have a issue with it you go to move the right handle forward a little bit the machine will start to move forward but if you move the handle all the way forward machine will stop and won't move like theirs not enough hydraulic fluid in it I have check the relief valve in the hydrostatic front pump they look fine the screen has been cleanend out bouth drive motors have been gone though so I don't know where else to look
