My LX865 Sat for 2yrs due to a hydraulic problem.Now that I want to get it going again I cannot get it to fire up. Bled all air out ,including lines at injectors. Getting a little fuel at injectors when I crank it over. Will only fire with a little starting fluid. Won't even smoke when I crank it. Any suggestions.
 
Clean the injectors with hopp#9 gun cleaner flush the fuel system change filter and never use either if needed use wd40

Thanks. I will let you know how that works out. I can crank it over and turn the lights on but I don't have any lights on dash.

How are you able to get it to crank over if you don't have any lights on the dash? Do you have it in service mode? If you are bypassing electronics to crank the engine you may not have the lift pump and fuel solenoid jumpered.

I didn't bypass anything . Lights work and engine cranks. Fuel pump runs continues once ignition is turned on. Not sure if it's suppose to run continues?? I took the plunger out of the switch on top of the injector pump,didn't make a difference. Didn't get a chance yet to do all you suggested.there is another solenoid on the lower end of the injector pump held on with 4 Allen screws. Should I remove and clean?

Yes that sounds like your fuel solinoid

Do not remove the lower solenoid. That is a cold start wax motor and has nothing to do with your situation.
 
Are you actually getting good flow of fuel? Take the line off the pump or open the water drain and turn on the key to see if it is really pumping fuel.
If it sat that long you should take a line off and pump out a gallon or so anyhow as any suspended water will be laying down there where the pickup tube is.

The wax motor is controlled by a water temperature sender. When the temperature is low enough the sender sends power to the wax motor. This melts the wax in the motor and advances the injection pump timing for easier starting in cold weather. When the engine warms up the power to the wax motor is stopped and the timing is brought back to the normal state.
