Hello, I am in the process of replacing a Turbo on my 2005 new holland ls185b and noticed the oil was milky. Is is possible the oil filter & cooler assembly is bad?

Thanks

I think yes. I have an 08 185.b it has a 3 cylinder Iveco motor. The oil intercooler blew. There are none of these anywhere. I contacted dealers from Canada to Italy, and I live in Florida. The result was getting with a machine shop, where we designed and built a new intercooler out of billet aluminum. The original was cast and severely pitted with all the fins completely clogged. I have pics from several years ago.
Before I installed the radiator, cause it had oil in it. I made a flushing system out of PVC pipe with an outlet on the bottom to continuously flush out the oil in all the water jackets. Be careful removing the cover as well, it's hard to find certain parts to this motor. Not sure how to post pics, but the new intercooler came out beautiful. I've had 6 made in total. I is on machine about 3 years now. 4 of them I sold. I believe I have 1 left. Would gladly send you pictures. It was a huge learning curve for me, I'm a carpenter, but all in all it's been superior to the original.

Yes. I also replaced my turbo to find out I had a bad inter oilcooler. I live in Florida and searched from Canada to Italy for the part. I have a 3 cylinder Iveco motor. I ended having to get with a mill shop, where we designed a new part out of billet aluminum. The original one is cast and was severely pitted. We made a total of 6 intercoolers. One has been in my 08 ls185.b for approximately 3.5 years, 4 of them were sold and I believe I have one left.
I have pictures but do not know how to post them.
The new part came out beautiful. It took alot of flushing. I removed the radiator and created something out of PVC pipe so I didn't have to keep circulating the oil through the radiator.

This was the result of the newly designed part. Hope this helps you. I couldn't find much assistance when I ran into my problem.
