just changes my key switch on my ls185 . now it wont start well. will crank a while and seems to start just when i release the key. anyone got a wiring diagram of where wires go on the switch. pretty sure they are correct but wanna double check. i did have the acc wire and bat wire switched around but now corrected. white goes to middle screw. red to bat, double orange to acc, everything else to start.

Not sure this matches what you were saying. Also, keep checking your fuses. I've blown fuses when working on this area before and then wonder why the new part doesn't work.

fuses are fine. this diagram has a couple extra wires i dont. it starts after it cranks a while, maybe 10 - 15 seconds. but only after releasing the key from the start position. sometimes i have to do it a couple times. im sure the switch is wired correctly after rechecking it. just puzzeling...

is it a cheap aftermarket key switch?
if so, it could just be a bad switch

So I had one that would frequently start and then about the time the engine got running it would shut off. After much frustration, figured out that a fuse or relay (can't remember which and both can have this issue) was not getting good contact in the socket. Corrosion or vibration wear kept the blades from making good contact. When the engine would start the vibration broke the connection and the EIC would shut the fuel solenoid off. Anytime you get a weird issue electrically on these machines consider this possibility. Maybe try starting at half throttle or more to get past that bad idle vibration faster. Or wiggle all the fuses and relays (engine bay and in cab). No guarantee, but this type of problem was frequent for me.

pretty sure these new holland skidsteers are absolute junk. now the seat belt light wont go off so i cant do anything with it once it is started.
