The instrument cluster lights (most of them) stay on all the time, even with the key off and/or removed. Of course, this drains the battery and we all know what a PIA that is to get to to charge it. He has a manual on order, but he is on vacation at this time (must be nice, huh?) and I'm trying to do him a favor and get this fixed, or at least on it's way to being fixed, while he is gone. Any ideas on the IC lights? I don't even know where to start, really, not having worked much on this type of equipment. Some background: The PO, for whatever reason, has removed the ROPS bar (whatever it is called on a NH), so that is missing. Seatbelt still intact. Everything else seems to be in order. On a side note, he'll want to replace the ROPS bar as well - is that an extremely difficult or expensive task?? The PO, in order to get it out, cut (and subsequently re-welded) the cage around the ends of the ROPS bar. Looks like we'll re-cut and re-re-weld that, since it's already messed up.
