Hey Fellas, I'm new here! Im a firefighter/Medic here in GA and I have had a NH LS180 for about a year. It has been a good machine so far and its got a little over 4000 hrs on it. I bought it used for some occasional use on my property. I was clearing some 4 wheeler trails the other day and pushing over privit hedges. I noticed that sometimes when I go ahead full on the right track it seems to get stuck in full forward. Once its stuck in full forward it takes several swift pulls backward on the right stick to get it to stop and come back under control. A few times I had to shut the machine down. When I crank it back everything works fine. It's an intermittent problem so that seems like some kind of electrical solinoid or something. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start. I have the shop manual and its not really much help. Thanks in advance!!! Glad to be here Justin. Oh its a 2001 wheel loader with OTW steel tracks, Thanks!!

The problem is in the hydo pump. Replacing the hydro pump is the only sure way to eliminate the problem. The problem probably lies in the servo section of the pump. but the servo is almost as much as a reman hydro pump, plus you are taking a chance that the problem may still be present.

Thank you Mike! Justin
