There are two diodes in the system and it is possible the one supplying power to the run relay could cause this problem. I overlooked this diode because I was following the wiring from the EIC to the fuel relay which shuts the engine off. If the 25A fuse blows or this diode blows there should be other electrical malfunctions. The 25A fuse supplies power to four other fuses. The run relay diode has a orange wire and a dark green wire coming from it. To check this diode follow the dark green wire to the relay base it is attached to. Remove the relay from this base. The relay will have numbers embossed in its cover, either top or bottom. You are looking for terminal 86. With the KEY ON, use a test light on the corresponding terminal in the relay base. If you have power the diode is good. With the relay still removed you can check for power coming from the 25A fuse. This is terminal 30. If everyting is as it should be you should have power at two terminals in the relay base with the key switch on. I checked other diagrams without the service run switch and the power supply to the EIC is basically the same.</p></blockquote><p></p>
