New to me 2002 773 with 192 hours. I have only put on 5 hours on this machine. Started tripping the alarm for low oil pressure yeaterday. It had been fine prior to this. Full of oil. ( half way between full and ad mark) didn't seem to matter as far as RPM's. any ideas? Sensor?

Oil pressure is something you want to be sure of. Get some type of mechanical oil gauge and connect to the location near the sensor or sender. Generally the fitting is 1/8 inch pipe but due to various engines that could be slightly different. It is critical to verify that you have oil pressure and not just take it for granted the sender is bad and run the engine. I would ball park 30 psi as a minimum at idle when warm. Of course always go by the manufacturers specs if available. If a mechanical gauge says your oil pressure is in fact low (may be 10 psi or less at warm idle) then I would remove the oil filter and cut it open, if its full of metal debris you are probably too late in finding the cause. Play it safe with the mechanical gauge and good luck, jeffco
