I'm looking to buy a rotary mower for my Bobcat 742. 11 GPM is the pump output, 1300 Lb working load. I see several that have a low flow pump requirement in the 60-inch mower I'm looking for but the drive descriptions are not very good/detailed. My preference is for a machine that uses a right angle gear box and separate motor. Something similar to a PTO driven BushHog is the style I would like. That brand unfortunately just makes 3-pt hitch/PTO types. The ones I see are basically direct drive, motor has an extended shaft for the blade. This severely limits the blade speed and, to my mind motor reliability. Is anyone familiar with a mower brand that is a closer match. reply here or email:craigb932001 at yahoo dot com.
