I pulled the safety switch out and it had some crud where the two magnetic ??electrical pickups are. I cleaned that and nothing. If this is the problem, can the wires on the switch side be cut and by-passed?
I have a 1999 763 Bobcat. I was pushing snow just fine at my house. I load it up and take it to move snow somewhere else. I go to back it off the trailer and it won't bugde. I messed around with everything coming short of tapping on everything with a heavy object (just kidding) and still nothing. With the lap bar down I can raise and tilt the bucket but it won't move. With the lap bar up, I can move the bobcat but the raise and tilt controls won't work. I am guessing it is the safety switch on the lap bar, which is located on the left mounting area for the bar. I pulled the safety switch out and it had some crud where the two magnetic ??electrical pickups are. I cleaned that and nothing. If this is the problem, can the wires on the switch side be cut and by-passed? There are three blue wires going to a connector and out of the connector there are green, black and red wires that go to the safety switch. Thanks for any info. Craig
