I need to grade some cart paths at our golf course. We have a small kabota tractor and I tried to use the box blade, but the ties just bogged down in the sand. We are going to add some gravel, and scrap the edges of what's there back into it, but I'm thinking if I can use my tracked skid steer I may have a better chance with traction. I'm thinking of picking up a land plane to work with. I will only be using it for this project about three times a year so I don't want to spend a lot. I see the three points are a bit easier to find, and if I get a three point attachment plate, I can add a ball and can use it for moving my trailer. How bad is it to use a 3 point attachment to on a skid steer for a land planer? Also, as I am spending the money to volunteer the work... I don't wanna spend a lot. Looking at the Tarter 72" from Tractor supply. If I get it and it's absolutely junk, I could return it, but is it even worth getting in the first place? Looking for a little guidance.
