Hi, I'm having some major water issues in the hydraulic oil. So much that I'm freezing up in the filters. I don't have any obvious issues, no bad hoses or Rams or wheel seals..they are all good. No hydraulic leaks...just some how water getting in...any suggestions? Maybe there is a breather some where that's missing or broken? I'm not sure where to find the breather on this machine Thanks for the help

There are limited entry points for water into the hydraulic system. Oil reserve cap, suction lines to the hydraulic pump. As you said there are no external leaks, i really don't know where else it could be coming from.

The most likely spot are the plates on top of the chain cases right below the loader arm. They get bent when material accumulates on top of them and then the loader arm comes down on top of the debris. Another point of entry is at the chain case adjusters. They need to be sealed after adjustment. The chain case side covers can let water in if you see oil leaking out. The breathers are about knee height when you sit in the seat. There is a hole through the outer panel on each side with the black cap of the breathers visible. They screw out.

Check the covers. I took mine off even so they were tight and found that someone had put them back on with no gasket and the surface was not clean I cleaned them and sealed them with silcone

Ah..the adjusters. That's a good point...where do I apply sealant to on the adjusters? And the vents...I'm going to have to look for those and make sure they are intact..thank you
