L555 deluxe - anyone have a source for the fuel sending unit?

Buy a unversal one from Amazon. I paid 10 bucks for mine and it came with a new guage but I did not have to use the guage. Mine bolted right in the same holes

No this was 4 or 5 years ago that I bought mine. I know you can still get them but they ma
y be 20 bucks or so now. I think NH has it listed on there parts sheet for 45 or 160 bucks

They do; $200. Yeah, hard pass. I'll try the unit on Amazon for $20.

There are many on Amazon to purchase, you need one that has the resistance specifications: Empty - 240 ohms; 1/2 - 130 ohms; Full - 33 ohms. I bought this one a few weeks back. You just need to clock it so it matches the offset hole pattern on your original sending unit. Just mark an arrow on the top of the old mounting plate before you remove it from the tank. No need to drop the tank.

This true but you get the guage with most of them and if it does not work with your guage just put in the new one. The one I bought fit my bolt pattern and I was lucky it worked with my old guage
