Got a L555 with a Perkins engine in it. Was hard starting with cold temps. I drained a little fuel out of the bottom of the fuel filter because when looking through the glass the fuel looked separated, turned out just was how the glass looked. I didn't empty the filter but maybe a 1/4 cup of fuel came out. It finally ran long enough to notice a fuel line for the #3 cylinder was leaking. Ended up being the flare was broken off and I replaced the fuel line. Now I'm trying to get it started again. It's turning over good and fast but the engine isn't even firing a bit. I was planning on running the engine on 3 cylinders and opening the fuel line for the #3cyl until fuel came out to bleed the air out. Since it's not even firing a bit I'm wondering if when I let air in the fuel filter is my problem. If so how do I bleed that air out?
