L425 crank no start

We have a L425 with WI V4HD ENGINE. used it this morning , shut it off for a bit, then went to start gain and crank no start.
Checked battery- Good
Checked fuel -plenty
Checked rotor and points - good
As I am by myself I have way to check spark at the plugs as of yet. But the distributor has spark.
Please give me any help or suggestions.

when you said checked battery, how did you check it, volt meter or load tested?
and when you say WON"T start, is it trying, as in starter spinning normally, or Not spinning fast enough or not at all?


have you tried removing fuel cap, to see if vapor locked?

you say it has fuel, but is fuel GOOD, clean and fresh?

are al grounds good clean and solid?

Later that day we removed the cap and rotor. The points are a low and we are going to replace the condenser also,
Unfortunately this did not help and yes it does turn over the battery is charged we have no spark

It turns over, tries to start. Starter is working. Battery is charged , checked with meter. Fuel was checked, cap removed. Clean and fresh. Grounds are clean and grease free.
We replaced the points, rotor, and condenser. Still won't start

if you only used a volt meter to check voltage on battery, your battery might be BAD
as the only way to confirm if a battery is good, is more or less with a load test, because voltage alone doesn't tell you if its good or not

so, I would again start with ruling this out before digging deeper,as it might just not have enough power to spin things properly!

make sure you have 12 volts to the coil when the key is on.
