wanting to repower with 23hp kohler. having isues with shaft. still have the flat plate for engine. I need 1 1/8 with 1/4 key. any ideas, pics of what you used. need someway to drive altenator belt thanks in advance.

What type of unit is this? I may have missed it somewhere. That steel plate is the plate you sit the engine onto and then slide it into the cavity then bolt it down? That plate? Really makes a difference when the many know the make, size and year of your machine. It also helps to know what the old engine drove for hydraulics like, belts, Drive shafts, etc.. A good picture of the unit also helps. Worth a thousand words.
