L225 proportional hydraulic switch problems?

Hi guys, I just recently purchased a 2011 new Holland L225, and hooked my grapple bucket up for the first time tonight. I hope this is a dumb question but how do I turn the aux hydraulics on? In my older s250 bobcat I just hit the aux hyd button and I'm ready to rock. I've read the owners manual and tried a bunch of different things I can get it to do anything. Everything else in the machine works perfect with the exception of the turn signals. I've flipped the toggle rocker switch on my right control handle and I only got the grapple to slightly wiggle one time. Do i have a bad switch? Or am I doing something wrong. Thanks in advance. It could be the switch or if your machine is a mechanical unit, then there is also a separate controller for the aux hyd. Neither part is cheap so you do not want to just throw parts at it. Get the troubleshooting information from your dealer or have them do the repair.

Hey guys, just an update if anybody is interested. It ended up being a bad switch, new one was 275$. Wasnt terrible to put in, biggest challenge was getting the electrical plug apart to i could swap the 6 new wires out with the old ones. New switch is an open design instead of a sealed unit, enabaling dirt and debris, to fall througj the switch instead of being trapped inside. The old switch tested funny when being ohm tested on 4 of the 6 wires it was almost 6k ohms resistance between them and the other 2 were approximately 120 ohms. New switch was 60-65 ohms all around. I am having the same problem. dealer said it was likely a blown fuse or the switch.. tested fuses and all were good, to I shelled out the money for the switch.. My question is where the heck is the connector for that swtich? i pulled the old one out of the handle and pulled the boot and see the wire head to the back but trying to figure out where it actually connects.. cant find any diagrams etc.. thanks in advance!
