2011 L225 with hydraulic detach on bucket. Problem I am having is like the pressure is fighting against itself. With this model if you hold the disconnect button it will disconnect, no problem. But it wants to lock bucket back down right away. It should wait in that state until you roll new attachment back, then lock back in. And I can tell when I am driving the pressure will kick off and on because you can feel unit slow down when driving and act like it fighting pressure. I believe this unit, the solenoid if off all the time until you push button on control. So not sure if I have a problem with pressure relief valve? Like I said I can be driving and you can feel it kick in and out because it will bog unit down when driving or using any other hydraulic function. I can clarify more if post doesn't seem clear. Just ask.

When using the switch hold the switch until after you release the foot pedal or handle so there is no pressure. If the latches rematch immediately I would look at the aux hyd as the cause of the problem. You can unplug the aux valve connectors at the front bottom of the valve stack to see if that helps.

Any hyd action can cause the latches to relatch

Mike, if the auxiliary is running I can hold the detach button and pins will release. But it will lock down as soon as I depress button. So yes I can override it with the button. So I reckon the solenoid and pressure relief valve are working correctly on the manifold for the bucket detach, correct? It's hard to pin down because the aux. will kick in and out. Won't I lose the hydraulic detach if I unplug the connections on auxiliary vavles?

Update: unhooking aux. vavles did not affect hydraulic detach. So far seems to have fixed the problem. I will go play around with it see if I can get it to do it again. So do I have a flakey auxiliary switch? Or a possible wire issue. Note: this model 2 speed, no high flow, no ac, heat, pretty plain Jane model.

You have the switch and you also have a small controller for the aux hydraulics. Any use of hydraulics that builds pressure will send pressurized oil to the latch and latch the pins.
