I'm new to the forum. There's a lot of great information available here, and I appreciate all of your guys' knowledge. I read through a lot here, but couldn't find answers to my current problems: I just purchased this L185. It has 1720 hours on it, and is a 2006 model year. It has the 2 speed transmission. Sadly, I was misled by the seller. He seemed like an honest enough guy, and when I purchased the machine, it had a pretty good leak of diesel fuel coming out the bottom of the machine. He told me they recently replaced a seal on something, and it was probably just not installed correctly, and he would have his mechanic stop by my shop and take care of it, as it was a "5 minute fix". Yeah, well, the guy isn't returning any of my calls. So, it's on me......I pride myself on being an extremely honest guy, and go out of my way to help people when I can. I know not all are the same. Here's a picture of the part that is leaking. It's a steady drip, drip, drip.....Is this a simple manner of removing the part and replacing the seal behind it? I don't know what this part is, or what it does, or what is connected to it. I've been unable to find a parts break down online thus far, and the local dealer doesn't have them in stock.
