Even one burnt out glow plug will make these engines very hard starting. I believe there is a relay that controls them as well, you should be able to hear it click when you turn the key on, I don't know off the top of my head where it is located. If you remove the rods that connect the glow plugs and check them with a 12V test light you will be able to tell if they are burnt out or not. The glow plugs ground the circuit, If the test light glows then you know the glow plug is not burnt out, If the light doesn't glow then you know the glow plug burnt out.</p></blockquote><p></p>
