I am trying to find out the proper wiring for a fuel solenoid on a Kubota engine. It is the one with three wires, 1) black, 2) white, 3) red. I have a wiring harness issue and machine will not start, solenoid does not move. There is no power going into the relay when key is activated. It's on an old 334 and i really don't want to spend the money for a new harness because I just use the machine around my property a few times a year. I put power to the white wire and it worked the solenoid for about 5 minuets until it burnt up. Lesson learned, I have a new solenoid but want to verify wiring before I burn this one up. I'm assuming; black = ground white = temporary hot ( only hot while engine is cranking over) Red = hot all the time key is on Does anyone know if this is correct?

That would be my best guess. I would test the new one with a power supply that showed amperage; you'll probably find that the white one pulls considerably more, and the red one might not have enough power to initially pull it.
Google image searches for V2203 fuel solenoid wiring diagram seems to reinforce this.
