Kleenline hot water pres. washer to clean skidder

Anyone have any opinions on using the mentioned hot water pressure washer to clean skidders? Mine has hand fulls of grease & dirt and the cold water only does so well. I got a chance to get a used one at a good price.

No problem doing that, just try and keep the water off the connectors if you can. You will get them, but try and not spray them. They are all sealed, best not try and tempt fate though.
I have done it many times with cold water, works fine, heat would move the grease better though.

I have never used the brand you mention, there are many of them, but hot water does really help imo
The hot water melts the grease and keeps it from sticking to everything as much, but it is still hard to get every nook and cranny. Digging the caked material out by hand seems just as fast, them pressure washing the the rest out till its clean. Doing a good job can take a coupler hours.
It really protects the machine from the possibility of fires and rusting out critical tube lines and other components. Mine get a good cleaning at least anually
I try not to spray high pressure at any of the electronics, guages, seals or couplers.

That washer or any other hot water washer will do just fine; though you need to keep the heat off the hydraulic hose a bit. Too close and you will cut your insulation.
I wouldn't use anything narrower than a 15 degree tip. On that note as well, if you need more cutting action with your cold water unit you could narrow the stream or get a turbo nozzle which is a zero tip that spins. You need to be really careful though on rubber/paint as well becuase if a turbo tip grabs a loose edge it will strip the paint right back.
