JUST THINGING ABOUT WEIGHT

hello out there .i'm sitting here thinking about my L553 and i wonder how many of you out there has tried to see just how much this machine would lift.i know it said 1500 lb and if you did more how much weight you had add to the back.just a though JIM .

With weights you will increase the ROC slightly, but there will reach a point where the lift rams just can't apply any more power. Generally this amount is right where the machine will start tipping forward.
If your machine is rated at 1,500 lb i believe it will lift double that, or close. The machine will not be very stable as most of the weight will be up front. No one will recommend you do this often, as it will put more strain on just about everything.
