something I’ve noticed in the last few days messing with this machine… the left side drive is very very touchy and jumpy.. the right side you have more finess with…. Also going backwards with both sticks pulled back it tracks straight, forward it steers to the right. The controls are centered in the neutral pos, cables adjusted ect. What would cause the jumpiness ?? Drive motor seals ?

Are the spools themselves centered (no broken spring, loose bracket etc.)? I had a similar issue last year and I discovered a broken spring and the top sleeve bracket had shifted slightly with a loose bolt as well. Do you get any creep at all?

Nothings broke but it does creep, bracket looks to be 90* and straight I guess it could be off a bit. That should be perfectly straight correct ?

Yeah they are supposed to be perpendicular to the body of the pump. There should be a groove on the bracket and a punched indent on the casting. I suppose they do that during initial setup. After the fact the bracket would pivot to either side as needed to remove the creep (doesn't need much).......whole machine needs to be in the air when doing that though.

Right now I’m waiting on my pres relief to come to fix my lift problem, went from coming tomorrow to tracking says asap, while it’s apart I do plan on changing the o-rings on the steering spools the one seeps oil. I’ve had that apart I did feel the detent on that bracket. I guess for now I’ll have to put it back together like it was till I can get it up on jack stands and have it running when adjusting them.
