john deere skid steer 332

I have a 2004 John deere skid steer and was wondering if any one knew why I am getting 24 volts to the key switch. Thank you!

Does it have 24 volts only when it's running or when it is not running, if it's not running and has 24 volts I have no idea but if it is running and has 24 volts I would imagine the alternator is overcharging
