My 320D that was used a week or so ago now will not start. No beep, nothing. I noticed that the open cab door indicator warning light is lit. There is no door on this unit, and I have never seen this light lit before.

I figured that maybe something corroded, or a ground is not good. I presume there is a jumper somewhere that disables this warning indicator (as it doesn't have a door). I found one jumper behind the warning lights panel, but I don't know if this is even the right one. I tested the jumper and there is 0 resistance between the two wires in the jumper, so I assuming that is good. Does anyone know where the correct jumper would be located? Any troubleshooting tips, as right now my skid steer is completely down and unmovable.

Cheers,
Ian

is there maybe a fuse for it you can remove?
and could your battery be run down from what ever short your having?
have you load tested batteries?
some times slow voltage issues can trigger errors!

Thanks mrbb. Haven't investigated fuses yet, good suggestion. The battery was reading 12.5 volts, so I left that on charge overnight, and charger said it was full. I haven't load tested the battery, I'll have to look into that.

yes you have to load test a battery to confirm its good or not

a volt reading alone doesn't tell you if there good
