JD 8875 / NH lX885 Hydraulic issue

Hi all, I have a JD 8875 which is basically the same as a NH LX885. One of my problems that I am trying to sort out is my bucket drops when carrying a load. It only does this sometimes and I can always bring it back up, when it just falls back down. Currently right now it is fine. This is an intermittent problem. 2 things I am looking at are cylinder rebuilds and or something wrong with the control valve. Sure would appreciate some tips on how to trouble shoot this better and any fixes. Thanks in advance Darrin

Since it appears to be intermittent, I'd suggest the valve rather than the cylinders. It might have load check valves that have gone dodgy, a hydraulic schematic would help a lot.
