The JCB 1CXT is a unique, compact tracked backhoe loader (approx. 9,572 lb) that combines skid steer maneuverability with backhoe digging power. It features a 49 hp engine requiring no DEF/DPF, a max dig depth over 10 ft, and a universal quick hitch for attachments. Its tracked design offers superior stability, low ground pressure, and effortless towing without a CDL

What do you think of this backhoe? Is it better to have a tracked or wheeled version for the countryside? What's the difference in cost between the two versions? I see it as a very versatile utility vehicle. Thanks. Is a backhoe better, or are both excavators and a mechanical shovel better? I'll make the observation. The excavator is more stable, balanced, and versatile. It rotates 360 degrees, loads vehicles better, and has a dozer blade for laying paths and leveling. The backhoe does many versatile jobs, but it's limited compared to the excavator. What do you think? Thanks.
