Im not used to a forum where nobody responds. Does anyone pay attention to these posts? if not, I'm wasting my time. Come on people, this is a chance to share informations. I would not be here if I knew it all. Doesn't any want to talk about their off brand skid steer? I'm new to the game, and don't know anything. Would sure like to to know somebody cares. Why didn't you buy a Bobcat? Why are you running a piece of **** that no one cares about except you? I guess my Koehring 1350 fits that bill. I can't hear you!

I'll say this in the nicest way i possibly can....
You posted a question in July 2nd, i replied 6 days later. I have a life and can't get on the forum as often as i would like. I get on when time allows and do what i can, but i can't do it all the time when i need to be working to pay my bills.
I don't own a Koehring machine, i have never even head of one. If you buy a rare machine, the chances of other members having the same unit is also rare. Say you had a 2014 Maserati, how many other members of a general car forum do you believe will have that exact same model to help with details? If it was an older ford, there will be hundreds more.
I believe all posts get looked at, but the most common machines out there are Bobcat and New Holland so naturally they will get more replies as members have experience with them. With “alien” machines, that number will be far lower.
I'm happy to help where i can, but i don't have all the answers. If i don't have the answer, i say nothing as it would be a pointless post.
No skid steer is a piece of sh!t, some are more robust than others or better kept, but they all do the same job of reducing the amount of back breaking work we need to do.

Sorry for the tone of this post. It was not meant to be offensive, but to generate some conversation. Well, that was a bad idea. This forum has already helped me with the repairs on my machine, and I learned quite a bit about its history. (built by Thomas in Canada, imported by Keohring under the name Scat Trak). It’s tough to buy a older, off brand that needs more money and time to stay in shape, although I’m starting to understand its peculiarities and needs. Thanks Tazza for your insight.

No worries.
In the past a small dispute has gotten out of hand, just wanted to tread lightly as to not have it happen again.
That's the good thing about this forum, there are so many members happy to share their wisdom freely. Not all have experience with everything, but we can generally sort them out. It just takes time.
