Greeting folks, Can anyone tell me how I can identify weather I have a low or high volume pump. I am going to try to put together a brush cutter attachment made from a bush hog mower. The machine I will try to build it for is a Bobcat 642. Wondering if I can get away with building it using a six foot wide bush hog ?

According to Bobcat, you have 9.5 GPM on tap:

FYI - 9.5 GPM at 2500 psi equates to 14 horsepower. Might be a little anemic.

I didn't realize a 642 would be that much lower then a 740 series. Either way, 9.5 gpm isn't going to be very useful for a brush cutter. Big thing is to size the motor for your flow, but I see it as too slow to be very productive.
