I have the factory manual, I looked at it once, for I thought I needed a pump. Turned out I got a bad load of fuel. The procedure, for a Lucas/Delphi pump is not straightforward or simple, but its been a couple years since I looked at the manual. I also remember it being vague, and incomplete, buy just looking at what needed to be done, by just looking at it, and what the manual said to do. (the whole manual is written this way, its not the best) Ive been working on diesels since the 80s, so Im not a shade tree, or scared of much, but I do remember something about that procedure being a "bummer" What indications do you have that you need a pump ? My diesel re-builder has told me the lucas pumps are very sensitive to water or moisture.</p></blockquote><p></p>
