I am in need of a Tilt cylinder for a 1988 Bobcat 743. If anyone knows of one, or what aftermarket cylinder can replace it. I would greatly appreciate. If someone has the specs on the cylinder, I can see if I can find a replacement.

Can you not get the old one repaired?
I could get you the stroke of the cylinder and bore sizes if needed.

I got the skidsteer very cheap as the previous owner took the tilt cylinder off to have it repaired/rebuilt, and scrappers came around and stole it for scrap iron! I am in need of a dead one that is rebuildable, or a good used one. with stroke and other dimensions, maybe a sub can be made or adapted.

I picked up a 743 tilt cylinder to the door for 65.42 total!! but there is a problem! It works as it should except the end loop on the stick is broke off. I know this can be fixed by my guy at the machine shop, but I need dimensions to carr him. any idea what grade steel we should use? there is more than enough meat on the end to mill it clean and weld a New loop on the end. Anybody got any dimensions?

what is the bushing made of? any idea any one? is there a weld on replaceable part available or do I need to fab up our own?

how does one post photos?
You'll have to have a new rod end made up. Tazza will know the dimensions. The material can be A-36 hot rolled and you sould have it made with a replacable bushing. To post pictures they need to be hosted somewhere on the net and then you can just copy and paste them into your posts. Here are the ones you emailed me.
