It has a ford pinto engine I was told. It is in overall good shape with like new tires and good bucket but.. engine is stuck from sitting. $900 + $100 for delivery to me (100 miles one way).. pics coming next week but he said other than motor stuck it is in real good shape and tires almost new. I can't find pic on net of a hydra-mac 70.. Is this Gehl? price seem fair?

It might just be me, but I wouldn't pay over scrap price for a machine with a froze engine. It might just have stuck rings that can be freed with acetone/ATF down the plug holes, or it could have a big end rod bearing welded to the crank.
A parts site lists the Hydra Mac models as 9C, 20C, 805, 825 and 865. Not to say those are all the only models, just the ones I could find listed. Scroll through the Gehl section here, there are several H-M threads, and apparently International had a go with them as well. If you have a picture of it you can do an image search and see what matches.
There is a Facebook Hydra Mac group as well; there seems to be a lot of info on the older models, brand crossover, etc.

thanks!.. Im sure it is froze just from sitting. has the inline ford so even I could tackle a rebuild or re-ring ( bore if need be).. But if motor is really bad as you mentioned I'd just repower it. My bigger concern is condition of hydro stuff and etc. It is just a hobby farm here and want it to play around without sinking 10G or more into something newer. I've been scrolling through here and elsewhere and finding lots on hydra mac but nothing on the "70" model? appreciate the response.
