Before the 963 I'd found a good running 980, much like these, hard tires, used a bit, for $5500. Saw a decently fixed up 980 sell for about $10,000. I'd be houndin' ya for info but just got a replacement truck & need to go through it before hauling. Oh, they seem to be worth more for selling purposes with the normal air filled offroad tires. I was looking into having rims made as I couldnt find any with that large bolt pattern and size. I think I could get em for less than $300 a rim. Found proper tires locally for about $150ea, and quite a bit of rubber for the money, 15-19.5's if I remember right. As for value to an individual, if you have room to maneuver: Quite a machine. If space is tight....not so valueable. .......Get em, & fix'em up quick before the 31st and you and a friend can trick-or-treat dressed up as Transformers. Get grapple buckets for them & tear a car apart, great stress relief. -Scott

[QUOTE="sledesigns, post: 29044, member: 2358"] Look like ship unloaders (don't know the technical term) , Crane puts them on a ship, push material towards the cranes clamshell bucket to offload. I'd look for sloppy pins from a dusty environment. Suprised its not rusty, I'd think being near saltwater would show more.
