A week ago I called the local; joke and ordered a service manual for a 642B serial number yati yati ya and today it came in. The wife went during the day and picked it up for me. well I get home tonight and the first thing I noticed was 641 642 and another model .....no 642 B on the cover right away I thought well ****! so I opened it up and yes wrong book! I am tired of dealing with this joke, can someone PLEASE hook me up with a dealer somewhere in the midwest that gives decent prices and has even a slight bit of kuth? I really can't take much more of the list price inept **** no mo! Please help. I sent an email to intermountain several weeks ago with no reply. where are you guys buying parts man!!!! if this is how all bobcat dealers are I will only do this one and will switch back to hot rods where the dealers are decent and the ones that have zero business aqumin are long frigging gone.

I'm lucky, I've got a great dealer up here, who treats me almost like family. I'll email pics of parts I need and they'll order them. Or I'll go in the shop and spend an hr talking with the mechanics about any problems I might be having. Prices are resonable for the most part. Goes to show ya there are good ones out there, hopefully someone can chime in with one a lot closer to ya.

Try IM Bobcat at Salt Lake, Mark's e-mail at work sometimes gobbles them up, try calling to ensure he got it. You said you e-mailed him a while back, its best to do a follow up phone call if you didn't get a reply.

Dan at Lano Equipment in Minneapolis, or the crew at Barron Supply, Barron Wi are both good to work with. Unfortunately I too can't work with my local. Mark at IM drops by here to help us out when he can. I too prefer emails, but I sometimes find a call just b4 or after registers better.

Try Bobcat of Mandan in North Dakota. The parts guys have been very knowledgeable. The sales guys are what makes them great but parts has also been extremely helpful while I have been looking for a skidsteer for me. I really appreciate the parts guys helping me so much since I am actually not even a bobcat owner yet and won't be buying a part. They have just been very good about letting me know what maintence I can expect on whatever machine I have asked about. Good Luck Dozer

Thanks alot guys for the help here! I will work now very diligently to find myself a dealer. If the dealer is even 1 or 2 states away I'm sure it will be a wash. This book order is the 5th or 6th part that has been ordered from this outfit and the 4th screwed up order. You give them the model and serial number and you would think that would be enough... well they even screwed that up some how. The parts come in, they call my wife during the day to say my stuff is in, so she drives 19 miles to town and the parts guys cannot find the parts, she gets home to find amessage on the phone stating that they found our parts.I'm done and mamma is done.

Well after talking to a couple engineers at vickers they turned me on to a supply house that rocks. TA 19 19 wafer plates $ 58 each. piston set $167 each. I was going to replace the aux pump till these guys informed me how to rebuild the front cover which is the flange side of the pump. If I remember correctly a new pump was only $367 If any one is interested I will post up their $75 v10 rebuild procedure.

skiddy , can you post a link to the supply house? thanks
Jerry I will post a link and a phone number and the name of the salesman the day my parts show up. I have checked with several dealers and this guy was way cheaper than the others. I think he has a big stock of this stuff and has not changed his price's. oh I screwed that post up piston kits are $115.00 wafer plates are $58.00 seal kit $35.00 shim kit for pintle covers $15.00 I want to make sure I got all I need because the rebuilders will snarf all this up.
