I am looking at a Case SR220. It has 5000 hrs. on it. Sounds and runs good. What are your thoughts on this machine

[QUOTE="mrbb, post: 140810, member: 13825"] it is impossible for anyone online to tell you if its good or bad 5,000 hours is a bunch of hours, but more important is how were them hours put on, how much care was done to machine over the 5000 hours or not how often grease, , Pm's done? what was it used for? what condition are the pins and bushings in? and so on these are some of the things you have so decipher when looking at any machine if you do NOT know what to look for, take someone with you to go look at it that does, next is, WHO will be doing repairs to this machine, YOU or a dealer or?? as that has to be factored in when you FIND issues, or plan to do Pm's and basic 's as costs can go high REALLY fast when using a dealer to do things new paint only hides things, IMO< so, buyer be ware has never been higher take an experienced operator /tech with you to go see it its worth PAYING someone to go if need be over just winging it on your own!
