My machine was running a bit rough for awhile for before it quit. Normally it would get better after running for a short time. The last time a started it , it ran rough then just quit. I seem to have spark and the fuel pump ( in-line) is pumping fuel to the carb. I have even squirted fuel into the carb. The machine will not fire. Hopefully someone has an idea.

If the engine turns over fine, if you have fuel where it is required, if you have spark, then it should run.
I would suspect your timing belt is at fault or a timing issue.
Have you tried a spray can of quick start to eliminate timing.
Your engine is said to be a :
It has a Ford Gasoline engine that produces 27 horsepower.

Pop the distributor cap off and have someone bump the key. See if it rolls around. (Alternatively, note the position of the rotor, go hit the key, and re check the rotor position... Retest a few times if you don't see any movement the first time...it may have just landed been in the exact same spot).

No movement means you have internal engine failure.
