I have a 743 and I have a small hydraulic leak on the left hydrostatic motor. I was going to just make sure that the bolts were tight on the motor prior to doing anything else. Could someone provide me the torque wrench settings or if I should be doing something else? Thanks

If the leak is from the motor and not a hose or from the chain case I would not touch it until I was ready to rebuild it the bolts have thread lock on them and is more than likely a o ring going out I think you just would make it worse if you rebuild the motors they are timed and replace the seal and the rubber ring inside the gear box while your in there If it is between the motor and the gear case there is a o ring there easy fix

Motor to gear case is 60 to 70 ft lbs don't have specs for motor bolts

Sorry 65 to 70
Antfarmer is rite, depending on where the leak is coming from, tightening the bolts may not help. If it's between the reduction box and motor, that is just a big O ring. If it's between segments of the drive motor, you will need pull it apart and re seal it. The threads on the drive motor have loctite to prevent oil going down the threads and along the bolt and out where the head of the bolt sits.
