I have recently purchased a 763 G-series. The hydrolic pump drive belt stretches within minutes. I've replace more than 5 in a short period of time. I intall and run for 5 minutes and re-adjust as recomended. I work the machine for 20 minutes and lose hydrolic power and find the belt very loose. I continue this process and soon there is in more adjustment left. Can someone please advise me what to look for. The machine works perfectly and no signs of the pump pulling a lot of power that would suggest stretching. The motor mounts and pump mounts are secure and not moving. In all my experience with these machines, I have never seen this before and though should be simple, it has me as confused as a curios dog. Please help someone.

They shouldn't keep stretching.... How are the pullys? are they rusty/pitted? i wonder if they are wearing the belts out like they have sandpaper on them. Just an idea.

I can only think of a few reasons why that might happen , first being that the idler pulley bearing is bad putting excessive heat to the belt , or the bearing on the input shaft of the sunstrand is bad putting heat to that pulley , oil getting on the pulley from a bad seal , or possibilly the wrong belt , not too long ago I got a drive belt and it was just a little too tight to get it in , went back to dealer and got one a little bit longer , there was a serial number break the counter guy over looked , maybe your are the opposite way and need one a little shorter ---------------I have never seen a machine eat belts like that before
