Hi all, I have a Bobcat 763. I don't have a manual and my company won't buy one. So with that being said i will need some help from time to time. I am looking to go thru and change all of the fluids and filters. I have a question regarding a filter that I can't find info for. It comes right from the hydro tank and it is a in line filter. Thier are no marking on it that I can find so I can't cross reference to nothing. It is a thread in to the tank and has a high pressure hose that attaches to it. It is aluminum about 3.5 inches long. It kinda looks like the older style screw in gas filters when cars had carburetors. Any help... Thanks

They are called case drain filters. Talk to your dealer, they will know what you are talking about.
Filters from the dealer are pretty well priced actually, you may be surprised. The case drain filters are a little spendy, i believe you can buy the inner brass filter seperate. I have never bought one, i just clean them out from time to time with diesel and compressed air. If they have been badly contaminated, you will need to replace them as the muck gets lodged deep in the pores of the filter.

Thanks for the info, that really helps.
