Hydraulics lower slowly.

My L555 seems to now lower slowly. If I hoist my forks in the air and remove my feet from the pedals, I notice it starts to lower by itself at the rate about a couple inches per minute. It is the 2 lifting cylinders and not the tilt cylinder. There is no hydraulic leaks. What would cause this? thanks

Its in your control valve leaking internally or your linkage isn't letting it center to close the valve. Check the linkage first.

If it is not the control valve / linkage, it sounds to me like one or both of your lift cylinder piston seals are leaking internally and need replacement.
