My lift cylinder blew a seal. I replaced and of course lost alot of oil. Put back together and filled till it started coming out the top petcock on my 742 gas model. Lift and tilt work good but now my forward and back hydrostats do not do anything or are jerky. Can there be air in the line not letting oil to the steering

Yes just raise and lower and tilt but don't max it out and drive a bit then let it settel might take a few times to get the air out

It could just be air in the system. It should self bleed in time though.
Generally the drive system recovers quicker to get rid of air than the lift/tilt does. Not sure why you are having issues with driving.
