Good morning, I have a ‘new to me’ M-610 skid steer. When actuating the boom and bucket cylinders under load, the Bobcat bucks around pretty violently. Is this due to cavitation in the hydraulic pump? I am preparing to drain the system and replace the hydraulic oil and filter and hoping this will fix the issue, but I wanted to check and see if this bucking and vibration was an indication of a larger problem? The service manual says to use 10w-30 oil in the hydraulic system. Can I also use hydraulic oil? Or will that not lubricate the steering clutches sufficiently?
