Hydraulic oil

What kind of hydraulic oil should be used? I bought a used MF 516, and he added 3 gal. of automatic trans. fluid. He said that is what they said to use. (who ever they are). I added another 3 gal., but is this what should be used. Would appreciate any help on this.

You really need to talk to the manufacturer, they will know what it's meant to have running in it. I have never seen one, so i can't say one way or the other.
