I have a 575 that needed the rear pump repaired and the coupling to the engine replaced. I finally got that done, but I have been using a book for a NH skid steer, and am not sure what oil I would use for the John Deere. Any help would be great. I do not need a lot, just enough to prime the pump I had apart. Thanks

Pretty sure any standard engine oil would do the trick. The hydrostatic systems on newer machines use the same basic grade of oil.

Thank you for that. In the NH manual it stated 10W-30. It looks to be exactly that on the dipstick at my left foot, but I just wanted to make sure somehow JD didn't use something different. Thanks and I hope to post sometime Saturday that the machine is back up and running well.
